M Automotive Designs provides Clear Car Bra / Invisible Car Bra / Stone Chip Film / Paint Protection Film (PPF) supply and installation for motor vehicles, motorcycles, aircraft, boats and jet skis.

My name is Chad Messinbird, owner and founder of M Automotive Designs. Established in 2006, M Automotive Designs was one of the first companies in Australia, to offer the supply and fitment of PPF to vehicles.

I started M Automotive Designs in 2006 after attempting to fit a pre-cut PPF kit, my father (Neil) had ordered for his vehicle, from a company in the UK. Long story short, most of the patterns ended up in the bin, after numerous attempts at fitting it.

After some research and discovering X-Pel in San Antonio, Texas, USA, I booked a trip to attend their training course. Once back home, the process of setting up equipment and the steep learning curve really began. Visiting car dealerships and trying to push a product that not many Australians had heard of – Times were tough and I honestly never imagined the industry (in Australia) would grow to what it is today. In some respects, I’m proud to feel I played a part in that.

Over my years in this industry, I have seen numerous “new” business’s start and end on the Gold Coast, new PPF brands emerge (mainly Chinese companies), detailers, vinyl wrappers, and window tint “experts” jump on the band wagon trying to make a quick dollar out of PPF.

I have to commend them all for the effort, but the truth is, PPF isn’t something you just start doing along with your tint/detailing/vinyl wrap work. It requires full attention and years of experience, a steady hand and an attention to detail for things that may seem trivial to most.

My business is just that, me and only me. When you receive a quote, book a job and trust your vehicle is going to be cared for – It is all me, not a team of people, on a wage and looking forward to going home for the day. I don’t run any social media pages, trying to make myself or my business look fancy to the masses. I just provide a solution and a service to protect your investment. I back my work and the product I use – If you’re not happy, I’m not happy.

PPF is all I do, no colour change wraps, no ceramic coatings, no vehicle “customization” or detailing work. We specialize in PPF, that is it.

Mobile service is available, and I can come to you for installation. I also have a secure fitting bay, located at my office/home in Tugun on the Southern end of the Gold Coast.

I have many years of experience with Paint Protection Film installation, which includes factory training in the USA (XPel Technologies) and here in Australia (3M and SunTek/Eastman) I take great pride in my work, using only the best products available and provide first class customer service.
